SPOKANE, WA - A 34-year-old Lewiston man who was critically injured in a crash south of Moscow on Monday morning has died, according to the Idaho state Police.
Shane Moyer was outside his 2002 Kenworth semi and trailer putting on chains when he was sideswiped by a 2009 Volkswagon Jetta that was northbound on US 95 coming down Riesenauer Hill at milepost 339.
ISP says 32-year-old Alisha Nielson lost control on a curve at about 9:02 a.m., slid into the southbound lane, and struck Moyer. Moyer was airlifted to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, while Nielson was taken to Gritman Medical Center
