Chemical fire breaks out on Fulmer Hall's 5th floor | News
Pullman Fire responded to reports of a fire burning on the 5th floor of WSU's Fulmer Hall around 2:20 p.m. Friday.
Two grad students were conducting a routine experiment involving electricity and chemicals. When they went to add more chemicals and electircity to the experiment, the chemicals caught fire.
One grad student received 3rd degree burns to his leg. The other grad student, who is pregnant, was knocked to the ground. Both are receiving medical treatment.
The building was evacuated as a precaution. Pullman Fire was able to put the fire out.
