"Rolling Video Games" Trailer = Awesome!

It's official, I wish I could be 13 years old forever. Today I had the opportunity to dilly dally around in a "Rolling Video Games" trailer. When they first showed up Robyn Nance insisted I come and check it out (it was a setting place for a Wednesday Child shoot). At first i was hesitant for some reason, it took two invites to get me out there and let me tell you I'm glad I did!

University of Idaho receives grant funding to improve natural resources on croplands

University of Idaho is receiving almost $173,000 in grant funding from the Natural Resources Conservation Service for four agriculture projects that will help improve technology and agriculture methods to reduce natural resource loss on croplands. Cigarette Left On Couch Causes Pullman Apartment Fire

Firefighters contained an apartment fire to one unit around 10 p.m. Sunday at the Pioneer Hill Apartments. The fire was caused by a cigarette left on the couch, according to Pullman Fire Prevention Officer Rich Dragoo.

Pullman and Whitman County crews saw smoke pouring from the building upon arrival.

Captain Eric Reiber said the manager's apartment, located on the ground floor of the 4-story building, was the only unit that burned.  Nobody was home at the time of the fire.

Zipcar partners with WSU to offer car-sharing

The paid membership for the program offers WSU students, faculty and staff the ability to reserve and access a car. WSU members pay a $35 annual fee, and rates on campus Zipcar vehicles start as low as $8 per hour and $66 per day. The hourly and daily rates also include roadside assistance, gas, parking and up to 180 miles of driving per day.

Generations of students have learned to either love it or hate the big blue heart that stands proudly along Stadium Way. Last October it left Pullman on loan to the Fredrik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan where it became a popular part of their exhibition and in weddings.

Kibbie Dome will be open for tours this weekend after completion of renovation

Plans to improve the University of Idaho Kibbie Dome with seating enhancements, the second phase of the renovation, are wrapping up. Later this year, the privately-funded improvements will also include the lowering of the field to increase its capacity by 8-10,000 people. The first phase included safety improvements that the University covered.

To celebrate, an official ribbon cutting with remarks from the Director of Athletics and University president will kick-off the seating remodel on Friday evening.
